Corporate Policies

At TaelaEco, we aim to operate responsibly, transparently and with respect for people, communities and the environment. These principles guide how we work with customers, schools, suppliers, manufacturers, partners and our wider network.

Anti-Bribery

TaelaEco has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption.

We do not offer, give, request or accept bribes, improper payments, kickbacks or other benefits intended to influence a business decision unfairly.

We expect anyone working with or on behalf of TaelaEco to act with integrity and comply with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws.

Ethical Business

We aim to conduct business fairly, honestly and transparently.

We expect our partners and suppliers to respect human rights, act responsibly, maintain appropriate working standards and avoid practices involving forced labour, child labour, exploitation or discrimination.

We seek to build long-term relationships based on trust, accountability and shared values.

Environmental

We work to reduce the environmental impact of the products and services we develop.

Our approach includes considering material choice, durability, responsible sourcing, waste reduction, packaging, transport, product life extension and end-of-life options.

Where possible, we favour lower-impact, recycled, renewable and certified materials.

Sustainability

Sustainability is part of how TaelaEco designs and manages garments, not an added feature.

We focus on creating products that are made to last and can be cared for, repaired, reused, reassigned and responsibly recovered at the end of their useful life.

Through Taela-EcoCore, we are also developing digital lifecycle and traceability tools to help organisations better understand and manage their garments over time.

Health & Safety

We are committed to maintaining safe and responsible working practices.

We expect suppliers, manufacturers and partners to comply with applicable health and safety requirements and provide safe working environments for their employees and contractors.

Products are developed with wearer safety, comfort and intended use in mind.

Fair Employment

TaelaEco supports fair and respectful working conditions throughout its supply chain.

We expect workers to be treated with dignity and without discrimination based on gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation or other protected characteristics.

We support fair pay, lawful working hours, freedom from harassment and safe working conditions.

Quality

We aim to deliver garments and services that are practical, durable and fit for purpose.

Quality is considered throughout design, material selection, product development, manufacturing and delivery.

We work with our partners to identify issues early, improve products where needed and maintain consistent standards.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We believe responsible business should create value beyond the product itself.

Our work aims to support better use of resources, longer garment lifecycles, reduced textile waste and more responsible sourcing and production.

Where possible, we also seek to support local communities, education and initiatives that encourage more sustainable behaviour.

Engagement

We believe good solutions are created through collaboration.

We actively engage with customers, wearers, schools, suppliers, manufacturers, recyclers, industry organisations and technology partners to understand real needs and improve the way garments are designed, used and managed.

We welcome feedback and use it to continuously improve our products, services and sustainability approach.
